Kindergarten Girl Squad

My BFF Holly's daughter, Hadley, recently started kindergarten. With this, she made two very good friends, Olivia and Charlotte. Within mere weeks these three girls have become inseparable and it's a beautiful reminder of the childhood friendships we all remember so well!
This gloriously coincided with my creation of my fall line! I knew I needed the perfect little girls to model my fall dresses.... My daughter being less then compliant these days. So, the beautiful idea of capturing their precious friendship was born. The perk for me was that they would be wearing my dresses!
Coincidentally, I went to high school with all these sweet girls mamas... at some time or another! We live in the small town of Clinton, TN and in various stages of all our lives we have all ended up back in Clinton, investing in our community. To further that, Olivia's sweet mama just happens to be an extremely talented photographer that I am utterly grateful for the downright gorgeous photos you're about to see!
There's something completely magical to me when a little girl puts on one of my dresses. As is human nature with many of us, I have that last questioning voice in my head whispering, " What if they don't like them???" As always, it was all for naught because when these sweet girls put on my dresses they had the exact response I love in my own daughter..... they immediately started SPINNING! Be still my heart!
We had decided to stay close to town so we went to Norris and started down Songbird Trail. We were a little worried because it had just rained... but then the sun came out.... And the fog started rolling in from the water. Needless to say, all of this created the most magical series of photographs by Katherine Birkbeck

Now after all these beautiful pictures of these precious little girls... I'm sure you're thinking, "Wow those girls are so precious and well-behaved!." You would definitely be wrong... because let's face it.... we had three 5 year olds on our hands!
Needless to say this was a night that turned pretty magical! I'm completely in love with these hilarious little girls AND these gorgeous dresses! Girl Squad Photo Shoot success!
